Tell Me a Dragon

The children have really enjoyed basing their learning around the book Tell Me a Dragon this week. They went on a dragons egg hunt and found a letter in one of the eggs it asked them to write a story based around a picture from the book. The children were so excited and produced some fantastic stories. It really captured their imagination. During art lessons the children explored and experimented with primary colours and mixed them to make secondary colours. Their art skills did not end there, they have been learning sketching techniques, collaging and printing and created a magnificent large dragon that is on display in their classroom. A very busy week but so much fun!
