I have lived in Coventry all my life and attended Wyken Croft myself as a young child. I have worked at Wyken for just over 17 years and both my daughters attended the school. I have been fortunate to go through all the changes over the years and be part of such an amazing team. I am extremely proud to work at Wyken and really enjoy working with all of the staff, children and their families. My current role as Pastoral Support Manager allows me to work across the whole school ensuring that all children are ready to learn and to support the families to help this happen. I am looking forward to working with the Wyken Croft Governing Board to help support the school even further using the skills and knowledge I have built up over the years.

My jobs are in School Sport and the Leisure Industry
within Coventry, Solihull and Birmingham. I am School
Games Organiser for Coventry East and my role
equips me with training and insight into PE across
Coventry and also nationally.
I worked at Wyken Croft for three years supporting staff
with PE and it was during this time that I became connected
to the school and understood how important a role Wyken
Croft has in the community and the impact it has on its pupils
and families. When my role ended, I wanted to continue to
support the school and I was fortunate to co-opted as a Governor.
My ethos as Governor is to support the school to ensure all pupils
have the best possible classroom education whilst asking questions
about beyond the classroom and how Wyken Croft can provide the
opportunities that create memories and aspirations.
