Warwick Castle

At the start of February Year 2 went on a class trip to Warwick Castle.

We were absolutely amazed when we first saw the castle and enjoyed putting our topic knowledge to the test as we spotted real life examples of features in a castle. A few of us were even brave enough to climb high up to the ramparts of the castle! We all participated in a workshop that transported us back in time and taught us all about life in a castle. We quickly decided that we liked our home comforts too much to live in a medieval castle!

We had a fantastic day and felt that seeing the castle in real life really helped us put the grandeur of a castle into perspective and has put all of our learning into context.
