Heroes
Our new topic is based on Nellie Bly who was an investigative journalist. Nellie's most famous story began in 1889, when she travelled around the world faster than a character in the book 'Around the World in Eighty Days' by Jules Verne. One of the places that she visited was Paris. After arriving in France and finding out about the Eiffel Tower, the children had to build a free-standing tower to rival it. Groups worked together to construct the tallest and most stable tower they could using equipment provided.
