The Wyken Croft Museum

This week the children were very lucky to become the first excited visitors to the incredible Wyken Museum,

This pop up museum boasted a really fabulous collection of Ancient Egyptian artefacts.

The display of mummy cases, canopic jars , hieroglyphs and ancient Egyptian treasure was the perfect way to launch our new topic.

Everyone agreed the display was ‘awesome’ and that they couldn’t wait to find out more about the wonderful things they had seen.
