Eagle Heights!
On Wednesday 12th June, Wyken Croft were lucky enough to get a visit from the founder of Eagle Heights (a foundation in Kent which care for injured birds). The organisation is responsible for many conservation projects, for example a scheme to provide nesting boxes for Barn Owl. Year 4 had a talk about the conservation of Birds of Prey and were shown real birds including eagles and owls. The birds flew across the hall which the children loved and some children even got a photo with them! It was a very exciting day for all and the children had great fun!
