'Tell Me A Dragon' week

The children have thoroughly enjoyed this week exploring and learning about the ‘Tell Me A Dragon’ book. They started the week by completing a clue hunt to gather a range of information about our new book. Then we read the book and explored the beautiful vocabulary in more detail.

For English, we asked the children to create their own ‘Tell Me A Dragon’ poem. The vocabulary choices and similes they included in their poems were amazing!

For art, we explored different sketching styles and then sketched our own dragon’s eye. The children took a lot of time and care when sketching their eyes and their final pieces were incredible.
