Year 4 would like to present their wonderful Celtic-inspired art sculptures, made out of clay!

The children learnt about Celtic jewellery and the intricate knots that were commonly used in the designs. They then used this knowledge to inspire their own design of a Celtic brooch or belt buckle. They carefully moulded the clay into a base and rolled the clay to create their own Celtic knots. They used clay tools to add finer detail and embellishments to their final piece. Finally, they painted their sculpture with metallic paint to make it look like an authentic piece of Celtic jewellery. Iā€™m sure you will agree, the final results are outstanding!
