Year 4 have had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day! Thank you for all of your support with the children’s costumes, they looked truly fantastic!

The children had the opportunity to explore a variety of books through a different medium - rap! They worked together to discuss their favourite books and create their own verse to be included in a whole class rap, which they then performed as a class.

We have challenged their knowledge of a range of children’s books through our World Book Day Team Quiz which they all enjoyed. Finally, the children had the opportunity to share their favourite stories with each other and explore books that they might want to read in the future.

Every child has been given a book token worth £1 which could be redeemed against one of the World Book Day £1 books, meaning they will get the book for free, or they could use it to receive £1 off the price of a book of their choice.
