Our Mars Rovers!

Last week, Year 5 were extremely busy designing and making their very own Mars Rovers. After learning all about the function and purpose of this machine, we worked in groups to create our designs, before constructing our own models. This involved measuring, sawing, and sanding wooden rods and doweling sticks to form jinks frames for the base unit of the robot. We then made use of junk modelling materials to complete the body of the product, ensuring that all of the components met the required specification.
