History Day

On Thursday 16th January we celebrated ‘History Day’ by dressing up as our favourite people from history.

In Year 2 we learnt a lot about castles and the different features they have, such as battlements, turrets, towers, drawbridges, moats and many more. Later on in the day we put our new knowledge to the test and collaborated to design and make our own castles including these important features.

Thank you to parents and carers for sending your children in such wonderful costumes on the day and to those who provided so many junk modelling materials for us to use.
